Brighton roofing company for wind and hail on the open plains

Wind does as much damage here as hail

Out at the edge of the plains, Brighton gets the full force of storms. Hail gets the headlines, but the calls we get from Brighton are often about wind: shingles torn off one side of the roof, ridge caps lifted, a gutter hanging loose.

Wind damage needs fast attention. Once shingles are gone, the next rain goes straight into the decking.

What we do after a Brighton storm

1. Same-day tarp if water can get in.
2. Free inspection of every slope, with photos of missing shingles, lifted seal strips and hail hits.
3. Insurance help. Wind and hail damage are usually covered by homeowners insurance, minus the deductible. We can meet your adjuster.
4. The repair, usually the same week. Luis’s wind repair cost $650.

Why some roofs keep losing shingles

If your roof loses shingles every spring, the problem is often how it was installed. Shingles need the right number of nails in the right spot, and the seal strips need warm days to bond. On a new roof, we hand-seal the edges and ridge where wind hits hardest.

Brighton roofing costs

Most repairs cost $350 to $1,500. A new asphalt roof on a typical 2,000 square foot home costs $14,000 to $24,000, with a 10-year workmanship warranty. You get a written quote within 48 hours of the visit.
