Hail hit your neighborhood. Now what?
The storm passed, and now there are crews knocking on every door on your street. You want to know if your roof is really damaged, whether insurance will pay, and who to trust.
Start with the facts about your own roof. Our free storm inspection gives you photos of every hail hit, so you know before you call your insurance company.
How the insurance claim works with us
- Inspection first. We tell you honestly whether there’s enough damage to file. Filing a weak claim can cost you nothing but time, and we’d rather save you that.
- You file the claim with your insurance company. It’s your claim and your decision.
- We meet your adjuster on the roof if you want us there, and point out every hit we marked.
- The quote matches the claim. We build it from the adjuster’s line items, so there are no surprises.
- We do the work. You pay your deductible, plus any upgrades you choose, such as impact-resistant shingles.
What a storm repair costs
When the insurance company approves the claim, many homeowners pay only their deductible. If there isn’t enough damage for a claim, most storm repairs fall in our normal repair range of $350 to $1,500. Luis in Brighton paid $650 to fix wind damage on the north side of his house.
Watch out for storm chasers
After big storms, out-of-state crews arrive, sign contracts on the doorstep and leave when the work dries up. Before you sign with anyone, check that they’re licensed in your city, carry insurance, and have a local phone number and address. We’re licensed in Denver and Aurora, fully insured, and have worked in the Denver metro for 14 years.

What customers say
“Wind peeled shingles off the north side of our house. They tarped it the same afternoon and fixed it that week for $650.”
Questions homeowners ask
How do I know if hail damaged my roof?
Look for dented gutters, downspouts and window screens, and shingle granules piled at the bottom of downspouts. These show hail hit hard enough to bruise shingles. The roof itself needs a close look from on top, which our free storm inspection gives you.
Will insurance pay for my hail-damaged roof?
Homeowners insurance usually covers hail and wind damage, minus your deductible. Whether it pays depends on your policy and the adjuster's findings. We photograph the damage and can meet the adjuster on the roof to point it out.
How soon after a hailstorm should I file a claim?
As soon as you can. Most policies set a deadline for storm claims, often one to two years from the storm. Check your policy. Waiting also lets bruised shingles start to leak.
Do you repair or replace after hail?
Both. Light damage on a few slopes is a repair. When hail has bruised shingles across the roof, the insurance company often approves a full replacement. We tell you what we see before you file.
